Sidra Saucedo

Sidra Saucedo was born in Los Angeles, California.  She currently resides in New York City where she is a first to time author, part-time explorer of love vs. evil and full-time student of life.  Caution: If you are seeking a traditional author bio, read no further. Battling poverty and family dysfunction, Sidra rose above her surroundings.  At age 16, she took a detour from high school to study and work in property management.  At age 20, Sidra landed in New York City as a professional model and was propelled into a jet-setting lifestyle.  Sidra’s thrill-seeking spirit and passion for adventure have led her to explore more than twenty countries, skydive, surf the world's oceans, and summit Cayambe, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. At age 35, Sidra conquered a life-long struggle with Attention Deficit Disorder, returned to school to complete her GED, and went on to study at New York Film Academy.  When a set-back forced her to leave school, Sidra made lemonade from lemons.  Despite her struggle to read and write, Sidra found a way to share her stories through writing, speaking and social media. A teller of truths, Sidra believes that imperfections are the vibrant color of a perfect life and that making mistakes shapes the soul. She is a mixer and matcher of traditions, holding onto what is dear and ditching what doesn’t work. Sidra’s philosophy is that life is about thinking both inside and outside of the box, taking risks, being bold, and getting creative on the trail to fulfilling dreams. The mother of three children -- each with their own story -- Sidra inspires her readers to live an unfiltered life to the fullest, to refuse to give up or give in, and to live the truth even when truth is masked by love and the illusion of control.    With brutal honesty, Sidra lifts the lid on lives of the rich and famous, and the vileness and corruption of crippled legal and social systems, where there is such a thing as too much money… and where money, power and control, by those who have it and those who want it, transform lies to truth and leave a wake of damage and lives destroyed.
